Nashville was definitely the place to be last night (9/2) for country music fans as Brooks & Dunn [ tickets ] celebrated the end of their 20-year career together in front of a sold-out crowd. Kix Brooks set the tone early telling the audience, "This isn't a funeral. We did show up to party."

The set list included 23 hits such as "My Maria," "Neon Moon," "Red Dirt Road" and "Boot Scootin' Boogie." Fans were also treated to a surprise appearance by Reba McEntire [ tickets ], who joined in on "Cowgirls Don't Cry." Fittingly, Brooks & Dunn chose the first song they ever performed together -- their 1991 debut single, "Brand New Man" -- as the last song of the night. "Radiohead [ tickets ] Live in Praha" -- a fan-created DVD concert film recorded by a group of 50 fans wielding inexpensive video cameras during the band's Aug. 23, 2009 performance in Prague -- is now streaming on YouTube and available for free download.

The Czech fans who undertook the project expertly edited the footage into a compelling document -- a feat that reportedly impressed the band, which in turn allowed the filmmakers to use the soundboard recordings from the show. ...continued

R&B singer V V Brown [ tickets ], who has opened shows for Maroon 5, Kris Allen and Owl City, has added a handful of headlining dates in the fall.

Brown will hit six cities between Oct. 21 and 28 as she continues to push her debut album, "Travelling Like the Light." Her current single "Shark in the Water" was recently featured in the promotional campaign for the Nickelodeon show "Degrassi." The cast of "Degrassi" joined Brown to create a new video for the song that appeared in the show's finale on Aug. 26. ...continued
