LG are joining the UMPC race with a little laptop all of their own-some. They seem to be selling it on the fact that it's available in a variety of colours (pink, black and white) but it actually has pretty decent specs as well. It's equipped with WLAN 802.11 and Ethernet for quick connections and has an 80GB hard drive, which isn't bad for such a small computer. Shiny Preview: Fizzbook Bang notebook

if i was going to buy a notebook based on name alone the Mr Fizzbang would already be spending my sterling. Even without the name, this 'one laptop per child' notebook stacks up in the specs, and it looks like the kind of laptop the Early Learning Centre might have produced. There's nowt wrong with that.

Fujitsu’s Tokidoki laptop is a must have mini PC

Mini laptops/netbooks/sub-notebookss/ULPC's/UMPC's/ (whatever you want to call them) are great aren't they? But as far as design goes, they tend to be a bit run-of-the-mill - i.e. plain. That's what makes the Tokidoki mini laptop from Fujitsu such great eye candy, not to mention a nice break away from the norm. Completely covered in Tokidoki characters, this Fujitsu laptop is incredibly lightweight and uses a super low amount of power when compared to your average laptop, giving a firm salute to eco-friendliness too.

The Asus F6 laptops really do stink

No Asus hasn't just released a range of crappy lappys. In fact, it's quite the contrary. The Asus A6 laptops (with matching mice) not only look good but they smell good too (apparently), joining the likes of the iCool MP3 player and the chocolate scented calculator in the smelly technology department. There are four designs to go for that exude an assortment of distinct fragrances depending on the one you go for.
