Best Buy Wii for Women event: positive or patronising?

Best Buy, seller of anything that plugs into a wall, announced last week the Wii for Women Event here in the US. I have mixed feelings about this event: on the one hand I am happy that Best Buy is acknowledging that women play games, on the other hand do we really need a whole event to make us feel special about playing games?
