Conan O’Brien unleashes nationwide theater trek
Rumors of Conan O'Brien hitting the road have been confirmed, as the comedian and former late-night talk show host has unveiled an extensive theater tour that kicks off next month.

O'Brien will premiere "The Legally Prohibited From Being Funny On Television Tour" April 12 in Eugene, OR, eventually working his way from the West Coast to the East Coast. In all, the event will stop by 28 North American cities before wrapping up June 14 in Atlanta.
Two-night runs are on the books in seven cities, including Chicago (5/19-5/20), Vancouver (4/13-4/14), and New York City (6/1-6/2).
Tickets for all shows, which are shown at right, are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
The revue, which O'Brien's website describes as "a night of music, comedy, hugging, and the occasional awkward silence," will also feature the comedian's longtime sidekick Andy Richter and the band from his eight-month run on the "Tonight Show."
The tour's moniker stems from O'Brien's $32.5 million payout from NBC, which included the provision that he cannot appear on television until Sept. 1, according to the New York Times.
