Lady Antebellum, Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert top ACM noms
Lady Antebellum, Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert lead the pack with the most nominations for the 45th annual Academy of Country Music Awards, which takes place next month in Las Vegas.
Country trio Lady Antebellum dominates the categories with seven nominations, including Album of the Year and Top Vocal Group. Lambert and Underwood, the latter of whom is the reigning Entertainer of the Year, trail with six nods each. The two are going head to head for Top Female Vocalist of the Year. If Underwood wins Entertainer of the Year again, she will become the first female in Academy history to take home two trophies in the category.
Taylor Swift is nominated for five awards, while Kenny Chesney and Brad Paisley are both in the running for four trophies each.

The awards ceremony, which will be hosted by country icon Reba McEntire, will air live on the CBS Television Network from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 18, according to a press release. It will be McEntire's 12th time at the helm of the annual awards presentation.
The evening's presenters and performers will be announced soon, according to the event's website.
Fans are asked to vote in three categories: Top New Solo Vocalist, Top New Vocal Group and Top New Vocal Duo--and can cast online ballots now through March 12 at VoteACM.com. The winners from each category will be revealed March 23, after which they move on to compete for Top New Artist.
Fans can vote for Top New Artist and Entertainer of the Year from April 1-18.
In addition to the awards show, the Academy will put on an all-star benefit concert special called "ACM Presents: Brooks & Dunn - The Last Rodeo." The event, which will include a performance by McEntire, will be taped April 19 to air at a later date on CBS.
During the concert special, Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn will receive the Academy's Milestone Award in recognition of their 20-year record-breaking career; the duo holds the record for the most wins in the Academy's history with 26 awards in total, including three Entertainer of the Year Awards.
Joining Brooks & Dunn and McEntire at the concert taping will be Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and others to be announced soon.
Proceeds from The Last Rodeo will benefit ACM Lifting Lives, the charitable arm of the ACM.
