Are you a geek and proud of it? Well you're not nearly geeky enough unless you have one of these Wi-Fi Detector T-shirts. Wearing this little number you'll need naught more than a glance down at your chest to find out if there's a hotspot in your area strong enough to offer access to the internet via your notebook/mobile phone/PDA. It's supposed to be perfect for finding the best places to get wireless in coffee shops etc. but states that it 'shows the connections that are floating about in the airwaves around you' so doesn't appear to be able to specifically detect free-to-use public hotspots. This would make it effectively useless in built-up areas where it would surely be flashing away like crazy 24/7. This 'animated patch' is removable for washing and needs three AAA batteries to work, so we're a little dubious about how well this is integrated into a lightweight shirt.
